All four

It was that time of year again, my brother, sister, and I were excited to be invited back to perform at the Free Sunday Concert Series.  Scott took some awesome pics that I'm so excited to have, like the above one of my mom and dad watching us play.

The reason for the blog title (all four), is because my older brother joined us for the first time!  He made an awesome arrangement of a Coldplay song and we all got to perform together.

It was a very memorable night, thanks for the pictures (and support) Scott!

Workplace

I came home from Hawaii to a new job (fun!) and therefore, a new cubicle...a very very gray cubicle. That just wasn't going to do, so I've slowly been accessorizing.
An hour glass (come to find out it's actually a half hour glass)
Fake orchids
Sweet Pea fragrance canister
These adorable birds-on-a-wire are from Z Gallerie
I love random stuff that makes me smile.

A favorite picture of Scott and I

And of course...a little candy jar.  A must when you're trying to make new friends!

Lucky Ducks

Look what we've been up to!  For 15 beautiful days we were living the dream in Hawaii.
My parents planned the most amazing vacation, we loved every minute! Our first week was spent in Oahu.

Playing in the most beautiful water!
Snorkeling at Shark's Cove
Thankfully there weren't sharks, but this is one
of the many sea turtles we saw!
Scott and I both loved snorkeling

Our favorite sunset

A beautiful Japanese temple

The surfers! They all did awesome
My brother noticed this down the street from our place.

Kayaking in beautiful Kauai

The whole crew! Had such a wonderful time together

The signs were there

I love when Scott leaves me little notes around the house.  He does it from time to time, and I have found several lately.  Back in April, when I was leaving the house for my first job interview, I found a note taped to our front door.  It said "Knock em dead! You're the best." It made me smile and gave me a boost. I decided to put it on our fridge and keep it up there until I was offered a job.

Twenty-four days later, I had my first interview with Deseret Book.  After 19 emails, 4 interviews, and three trips downtown, I was offered the job I was so hoping to get! I was extremely humbled and completely excited! My title is "Music and Film Publicist".  Deseret Book owns a record label and film distribution company, so I'm working with both of those.

On my very first day of work last week, I got in the car to find this sign from Scott on my passenger seat:
Ha ha, I say this often, but "Scott knows me so well".  It's a pretty safe bet that I totally would have headed north on the freeway out of habit.  Scott was thorough...when I got to the bottom of our hill, I spotted this sign:
I have only one word to describe that. Adorable.

Meet the Graduates

Ready to feel old?  Those of you who grew up with me won't be able to believe this, I still have a hard time myself!  In the last five weeks my side of the family has had three graduations.  Mine in April, my SISTER's in May, and my BROTHER's high school graduation today.  Where does time go?!

My beautiful sister received her Bachelors Degree at the ripe old age of 21.  She went to Snow College for a year and finished up at Utah State.  We are so happy for her and are completely proud (and in awe) of what she was able to achieve so quickly!  We sure love this girl and are happy to have her back home.

The baby of our family graduated from high school today!  Our last LHS graduate, all four of us went there.  It seems like not much has changed, I saw a lot of my high school teachers today, and the kids seem like they have an awesome tight-knit class.

I'm also in awe of this guy.  He is talented in many ways and has so much to offer.  My parents finally get a cougar, he'll be attending BYU in the fall!  He is such a good brother and friend, we all love this kid so much.  So proud of both of them!
