She's a First!

The first Cutler grandchild!!! Claire Michelle was born February 20th! She was 8lbs 4 oz, and is an absolute DOLL. Everyone, including all the nurses, are in love with her pouty lips and chin. She has chubby kissable cheeks and the perfect amount of little blonde hair. She's perfect! This means that Luke is no longer the baby of the family :) Claire was born at 2:29 a.m. and wouldn't go to sleep till about one in the afternoon! She is a very alert baby! Marilyn is doing great; she's a big fan of epidurals. Jeremy is a proud daddy and loves his two beautiful girls.

Lovely Weekend

This is the cutest couple, and their names just happen to be Matt and Mary. I can't get over it- it's too perfect. Their wedding was in sunny St. George on Valentines Day, it was the perfect way to celebrate the day of l-o-v-e. Matt has a twin brother and I cried like a baby at the wedding when they hugged after the ceremony. They are very close (like most twins are) so it was emotional for the first one to get married.

It was a great weekend...although the little niece we're all waiting for didn't show up. Darn! Luckily Marilyn is being induced at 6pm tonight so it won't be long now! If you can't tell, I'm SO EXCITED! Good luck Marilyn & Jeremy!

Six is a big deal, right?

Just thought I’d mention yesterday we hit the half way mark in our first married year. I’m not sure if people celebrate 6-month anniversaries, but it only comes once, so why not? Scott brought me home a beautiful house plant and we went out to dinner at El Matador.

This will be a really fun weekend; first we are taking a road trip to St. George for my cousin Matt’s wedding. Second, we are waiting for the FIRST Cutler baby to come! Marilyn is due this weekend and we are all beyond excited. My parents picked out their grandparent names: mom is grams, and dad is opa (grandpa in dutch). Isn’t that great? Come soon baby!!! We’re all waiting!

Favorite Skating Spot

Ever been ice skating at the Gallivan Center in Salt Lake? It' s a great little outdoor rink that we try to go to every winter. It is small, in the middle of high rise buildings, surrounded by lit up trees; truly a great downtown spot. Like many things it reminds me of a movie- Serendipity. If you've seen the show you know what I mean. Well we finally made it there on Friday- it was a fun night out.

Congratulations to Scott's sister Kari on her new baby Linley!!! She is one cute little girl and we can't wait to see her in person :)
