Here’s 7 things you might or might not know about me!
HEATHER
- I love having blonde hair. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. When I was 8, we were in Paris and I was momentarily kidnapped by Asian tourists. They all wanted pictures with the little blonde girl. After that, I felt like my hair color was special.
- I still sleep with a teddy bear. If I don’t have it with me, I stuff a pillow under my arm! I don’t like feeling alone at night, and I think over the years I convinced myself that a 14 inch stuffed animal could save me if I ever got into trouble.
- I should actually have a lazy eye…Luke calls me a mutant because my brain figured out how to make things work. One eye is far sighted and the other is near sighted. Only about 2% of people have that, and usually they have a lazy eye! Mine cancel each other out and I can see just fine. Sometimes I’m a little crossed, but it’s better than it should be.
- I talk to animals…and I think they can understand me. Yep, I am a big fan; I’m pretty convinced that I’ll see all my bunnies up in heaven again. The day Miss Dotty died I called Scott and he thought a person had died because of how upset I was!
- I usually remember at least part of my dreams in the morning. I am a psycho dreamer…I don’t know where I come up with the stuff. Don’t get creeped out, but most of you reading this have probably made a cameo appearance in my dreams before.
- I played with Barbie’s till I was 12. Ash and I played all the time together; we’d get these dramatic 3-day games going. I feel bad, sometimes I’d put her in tears because “Bridgett broke up with Ken and stole his dog in the middle of the night…”
- I have super-sonic hearing. If I’m alone watching TV, the volume is hardly up at all. There have been times in movie theaters that I wanted to literally cry because the sound was so loud! Sometimes I keep earplugs in my purse just in case…
So Fun!
I finally got to go see Jenna in Phili! Jenn...you and Greg officially get the title(s) of "Best Hosts/Tour Guides/Cooks". The trip was so fun and relaxing. I loved being able to see tons of new things and be with my far away friends! This was our second trip with Jenn and Greg, Scott and I still laugh about the Cali trip of '06. The four of us always have so much fun and always come out with lots of inside jokes (I was number 5! I was number 6!). Here's a few of my favorite pics-

Movies

I'm amidst my 'Christmas movie watching schedule'...I go through this every year. There are so many good Christmas movies, so little time. I'm not proud of last year's performance: didn't even watch Home Alone. Well, as soon as finals are over, I'm going to get serious.
I hit a glitch yesterday though, I watched Sleepless in Seattle. You're probably thinking, "great film...but since when is that part of a Christmas movie watching schedule?" I'm sorry! I don't know what I was thinking! I really thought it was a holiday flick for some reason...and, in my defense, it does start with Christmas, go to New Years, and end on Valentines Day. Definitely not Christmas enough to make the list though. What a waste. I could have been watching Mickey's Christmas Carol.

Bittersweet...
Our Relief Society presidency was released yesterday. It's a pretty weird feeling! I was emotional about it for a few days, I felt like I needed more time. There are projects I didn't get to finish and things I didn't start...but I realized pretty quick I had to let it go, it's someone elses turn. One of the best things about student wards like mine is getting to have callings like I had. I really got to see how the church is run. It's changed the kind of member I'll be from now on!
