A few of you have asked if I started doing craft projects on Fridays. I posted a week or two ago about my Fridays off during the slow season at work. I have done two projects that were very simple (for my simple skills). Emily C. suggested I make a fall wreath, and that was my first project! My sister Ash was here and made one too. We had fun walking the aisles at the craft store trying to decide what color flowers to pick. My wreath ended up costing just under $20 to make.
On Saturday I also finished up a project I started a long time ago. My sister in law Bri has a dry erase calendar on her fridge and I thought it was brilliant, so I made one for us. It is so handy. It is just scrapbook paper that Scott drew a grid on for me. I laminated it, and now I just fill in the month, the days, and our events each month. To finish it off, I made a shopping list to match, and made three magnets using the paper scraps . So those are it for now!
